As a tech mom, I have always been a big fan of streaming content. All forms of entertainment are now available via streaming services – movies, books, audiobooks, music and games. But do you know a service that provides all five? Enter, Playster. Described as the Netflix of everything, Playster has a huge library available around the clock for everyone in your family.

Service Review
Playster offers an incredible amount of content. The strongest libraries are found in the Books, Audiobooks and Music categories. While my own favorite author wasn’t featured, I still found a lot to love about the service. Highlights for me included:
- The Magnolia Story by Chip & Joanna Gaines (Audiobook)
- Scrappy Little Nobody by Anna Kendrick (Audiobook)
- A seriously impressive list of Cookbooks
- Classics like Wuthering Heights and Pride & Prejudice
- Popular series like A Series of Unfortunate Events and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
- Lots and lots of comic books!
And just check out their current partners:

Playster is available on any device using a browser as well as an app for both iOS and Android. The interface is pretty to look at and easy to use, just like an interface should be. Choose your category on the left and options are shown in a colorful grid. The provided suggestions based on Mood are fun too. But if you just want to get down to finding something specific, the search bar is right up top, ready to use. Different profiles let multiple people in your family use the service while keeping everyone’s lists and favorites separate.

The tablet and headphones arrived in really nice packaging. We were impressed by the presentation and then we were impressed with what was inside. The headphones are well made and soft and the sound is great. I admit I have a preference for over the ear headphones, which may or may not have to do with some extremely small ears. 😉 The tablet has a heft and a quality feel to it. The specs aren’t the top among all tablets, but it runs everything it needs to with no issues. At 8″, it’s the perfect size to hold with one hand while using it. When reading in bed at night, it doesn’t feel cumbersome. Plus, you can use it as a normal tablet when you’re not using Playster!
Bottom Line
Playster is an ideal option for anyone who loves their entertainment, especially families. Like Netflix, I think it’s just going to get better and better. Try it now free for 30 days. There’s no commitment and nothing to lose!
