I’ve chosen most of the paint colors in our house already. I do feel a bit like I’m on warp speed with the room designs, but I’m really sure about them so I’m comfortable with my choices.

We came to this home from a seriously colorful house. I love color and it showed. Dark teal living room, Apple green kitchen, bright yellow bathroom (which used to be aqua)…I was not scared to pick something many people would never consider. That hasn’t changed much but my taste definitely has.

The majority of the house will be a light to medium gray, the doors will be black, the trim will be white and you’ve seen the floors. Where’s the color? In the accessories! I want to include one or two pops of color (TBD) to incorporate to bring all the spaces together. Then the bedrooms will have their own color schemes.

All paints are the Behr Premium Plus Ultra line, which has paint and primer in one. Painting the whole house may be overwhelming but we can try to make it as easy as possible with nicer paint that will cover in one coat. And it’s supposed to hold up to scrubbing, which we need with the boys!

Still up in the air: Master Bathroom, Media/Bonus Room, Laundry Room and possibly the Office & Dining Room although I’m pretty sure they’ll also be gray.
