Do you wear your geekiness?

I’m the first one to admit I’m a huge dork. Come on now, Techmomogy?  But I like to think it’s not readily obvious when you look at me.  It’s all over when I open my mouth, but I tend to dress like any WAHM/SAHM.  Yoga pants, t-shirts or tank tops, sweat shirts.

As a tech mom though, I carry around a lot of gadgets.  At the very least, I need to have my phone.  You may know I’m currently reviewing the new HTC One X+ (it’s awesome!) as part of Troop One X+.  So here I am with 2 phones I can’t live without and a need to have them with me all.the.time.

Like any woman, I primarily use a purse to tote my belongings with me.  My dorky (or way smart?) confession is that almost all my purses are purchased thinking about how I will be able to carry my gadgets with me.  My weakness are Fossil purses (my husband caught onto this early on…you should see my closet).  I always need pockets, lots of them.  And a huge amount of space.

This purse was able to fit my interchangeable lens camera, my Nook Color, and my cell phone as well as the normal stuff – wallet, lip gloss, etc.

This future all star in my collection came from my Mother in Law and is being saved for a trip to Disney World in 41 days!  I’ll be toting both phones, my camera, and a small video camera while fitting in some necessities like diapers, wipes, sunblock, water, and more.

Added to my winter style is this handy, dandy sweater vest (ok, so maybe I do wear my geekiness…).  Why?  Did you see the pockets?  If I’m wearing this, I have both phones ready to take pictures and share content on the go.
