Keeping my family organized is already a chore and I only have one toddler to deal with. Cozi is a web based organizer geared towards keeping families on track with their schedule, to do list, shopping lists, and even a family journal! And with apps for iPhone, Android, and Blackberry or using the mobile site from other devices, accessing Cozi is super easy.
I’ve found Cozi to be extremely useful mostly so far for the to do lists and shopping lists. I love being able to make a list for my husband and he can access OUR account on his phone or if I want to be a little more pro-active, I just text it to him directly from Cozi. We just had to set up our phones to accept texts from Cozi once in the beginning.
I’m notoriously bad at keeping track of my son’s milestones in one place. I’ve finally taken to adding them to Cozi’s journal and love how easy it is to make a simple note to remember one day. And the various stores we visit weekly are simple to keep track of by creating different shopping lists for each.
My favorite part? I keep my Google calendar integrated with Cozi. I LOVE everything Google and always use all their software, so being able to add my current calendar is a big plus. As my son gets older and we add to our family, I imagine the calendar tab will become even more useful for us. How convenient is it to have the ability to add an appointment or schedule per family member. Color code your kids and keep track of their obligations. I’m looking forward to that!
Go to the downloads tab for some extras such as a desktop gadget for Windows or some dinner recipe ideas! Cozi is free but there is an ad-free option with a subscription to their service. Normally $4.99/month, they’re currently offering the subscription for $2.99/month. I don’t mind the ads but it’s nice to have the option!
