I was super excited when Big Fish Games asked me to review another one of their games! Immediately, Big Fish Casino caught my eye!! After spending a weekend at the Borgota in July and realizing I had no idea how to play any games, except slot machines, I thought this would be a great way to learn in an unintimidating environment. Upon choosing my game, I was taken to the App Store where I easily downloaded it to my iPad.
Upon entering the game, you end up in the Casino Lobby. From here, you can choose what you want to do.
Naturally, I stuck with what I was most comfortable with and went directly to the slots. Once I got the hang of how the game worked, I figured I could get brave and raise my bets. Let’s face it….fake money is a great way to play!
After slots, I headed back out to the lobby and over to the Roulette table. This game has always intrigued me and I dabbled in this a bit at the Borgota, so I figured I would learn more. I quickly realized how frustrating this game is and I’m still trying to learn the rhyme and reason behind making picks. To me, I would want to put a chip on every spot to guarantee a win, but, then I would be losing a lot of money too. This is why I don’t gamble much in real life….I’d much rather buy shoes! I also hit the Blackjack table and found this to be the most fun of all the games I played. Understanding the concept really helps and I’ve watched my husband play a lot. I did pretty good at my table and won a bunch of hands. That made me super happy and got me more chips to play with!
The other cool thing is that there are areas out in the lobby where you can win (or buy if you really get desperate!!) chips. I ended up spinning the wheel and got 5,000 chips….so off I went to play some more!
The game is really fun and a great time killer, especially on long trips. I only played with the free version, but, I do believe there are upgrades you can take advantage of as well. Overall, this was a really fun casino game and one that will definitely stay on my iPad. To find your next favorite iPhone/iPad game, visit Big Fish Games online catalog.
